The best and easiest way to host a successful gold party is to contact your friends, family, and co-workers to let them know that you are having a gold party. Welcome them to invite or bring additional guests as well. Once you set your guest list, our professional party planners will work with you on designing an invitation and sending it out, either by regular mail or by email. When you invite guests, be sure to let them know that the more the merrier! Also, inform your guests that at your gold party they will absolutely not be spending their money because gold parties have nothing to sell. Instead they will be paid money on the spot and have a day or night full of fun and entertainment.
Premiere Gold Parties will take care of the invitations, food, drinks, and the assessing and paying for of gold, so in order to host a successful gold party there are a few things you can do to supplement our work:
- Make a list of EVERYONE you know.
- Write down the phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses of everyone on your list.
- Have invitations sent out to everyone on your list 10 – 14 days prior to your party.
- Start making follow-up calls to ALL the people on your list about 5 or 6 days after invitations are sent out. Make sure they received their invite and explain what type of party you are having. Remember, gold parties are fairly new and some people may not know what to expect.
- Feel free to print out additional invites or flyers to give to additional friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors.
Because our hosts are paid 10% of all gold purchased at the gold party, try to invite as many people as you like, but also keep in mind that you can talk to your guests about the amount and type of jewelry they will bring. Guests can sell anything made of gold, sterling silver, platinum, watches, estate jewelry, diamond jewelry, and more! When you talk to guests, remind them to look through their closet and see what old jewelry they have laying around that they never wear. What about mismatched earrings, or tangled gold chains? Instead of taking up closet space explain that these can now become cash in their pocket!
Generally speaking, everything regarding the planning of the part will be taken care of by Premiere Gold Parties. So, the amount of money you will make will depend on the number of guests in attendance and what type of jewelry they buy! The more guests you can get to come, and the more jewelry they sell, the more you will make!
